Seems like just a few years ago I was covering my first career Super Bowl, now fast forward seven years to my 5th big game. One thing I can say even after five of these games is it never gets old. The goose bumps and nervousness are there year after year and I love it! On to the game.

Nothing beats finding out you got a photo credential two days before a big playoff game. That would be the case for me with the AFC Divisional matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos. The game would take place in Denver where game time weather conditions were in the SINGLE DIGITS. By the end of this marathon game I wouldn’t be able to feel a SINGLE DIGIT on my hands. On to the game!

A few months ago I was lucky enough to shoot my fourth Super Bowl game. This game would be a rematch of the 2009 Superbowl that took place in Arizona between the Patriots and the Giants. Now if only this game could be as exciting as that one!
.Still tired from shooting the football game at BYU the night before, I landed in San Diego and was picked up by my buddy Rob Benson and off we went over to Qualcomm Stadium to shoot the San Diego Chargers home opener against the mighty Baltimore Ravens.
.A few months back I had the privilege of shoot behind the scenes with NFL superstar Kurt Warner for an ESPN.com story. With ESPN writer Wayne Drehs in tow we got to work documenting Kurts life on and off the field.

So 2008 is in its final month so I figured what better way to remember the great year than by throwing together several best of 2008 galleries. I plan to do several in these last few weeks of the year. I will start it off with my favorite celebration photos of the year.
