Sorry for the delay with getting Sundays blog from Gainesville posted but lets be real, its not like anyone waits to get race results from this blog… well I hope not at least! Lets head out to the Gators for a historic day of racing.
Saturday in Gainesville would be a busy day of a few portrait shoots along with the standard qualifying coverage.

Time for my first 2013 NHRA blog posting of the year. As with last year my drag racing season would begin in West Palm Beach, FL for pre season testing, Toyota Racing NHRA portraits and new on the schedule this year… some fishing!
The third race on the 2012 NHRA season took us to Gainesville, FL. Its a track rich with history that I was excited to get back to following my first visit last year.

Just over a month ago I packed my suitcases and flew to West Palm Beach, Florida for a week of NHRA preseason testing. I was working for several clients so it would be one hell of a busy week for me.

The previous race I covered was an epic championship race for the NHRA so heading to Miami for NASCAR I was hopeful for another close championship race. Close would be understatement as heading into the race Carl Edwards led Tony Stewart by an astoundingly close three points. Time to award some hardware!
