Following the delay of last weekends race here in Atlanta we would return to Commerce for week two of the Southern Nationals. Only one day of qualifying for the pro drivers with the threat of rain made for some stressed out race teams as we head towards the midpoint of the regular season.
Under sunny and humid weather conditions we kicked off the NHRA Spring Nationals near Houston, TX. It would be a day of some good pics. Continue on to see my day…
Time for my first 2013 NHRA blog posting of the year. As with last year my drag racing season would begin in West Palm Beach, FL for pre season testing, Toyota Racing NHRA portraits and new on the schedule this year… some fishing!
After a long day spent on the starting line for Friday, I decided I wanted to shoot top end for day two of qualifying. Last year I would shoot top end this same day and was rewarded with a Pretty Wild Photo Sequence. Would today provide me any cool photos? As a former vice president candidate used to say, “You Betcha!”
