Seems like just a few years ago I was covering my first career Super Bowl, now fast forward seven years to my 5th big game. One thing I can say even after five of these games is it never gets old. The goose bumps and nervousness are there year after year and I love it! On to the game.
.

Nothing beats finding out you got a photo credential two days before a big playoff game. That would be the case for me with the AFC Divisional matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos. The game would take place in Denver where game time weather conditions were in the SINGLE DIGITS. By the end of this marathon game I wouldn’t be able to feel a SINGLE DIGIT on my hands. On to the game!
.
A few days after my first NCAA football game of the year in Tempe, I would next head down to Tucson to shoot the Washington Huskies visiting the Arizona Wildcats. The last time I shot a football game down in Tucson was the 1999 Insight Bowl. Thats 13 years since I have shot there. Boy have I been missing out! Its a great stadium with nice lights but most importantly wide sidelines that makes it easy to get around. Lets check out the shots.
.With my busy travel season slowing down a bit it gives me time to cover other sports such as one of my favorites, Football! My first NCAA football game of the season would take place about 10 miles from my place at ASU in Tempe. With the #3 ranked Oregon Ducks in town it was sure to be a tough game for the Sun Devils.
.A few months ago I was lucky enough to shoot my fourth Super Bowl game. This game would be a rematch of the 2009 Superbowl that took place in Arizona between the Patriots and the Giants. Now if only this game could be as exciting as that one!
.With my motorsports travel season finally in the books it was time to get back to shooting some football. At the last second I was given the opportunity to fly up to Eugene, Oregon to cover the inaugural Pac-12 Championship game between the UCLA Bruins and the Oregon Ducks. Of course I will jump at the chance to cover a big football game!
.My favorite part of the college football season is without a doubt the end of the year and all the bowl games. Living in Phoenix is a perfect location during that time, and no not just because of the fact that I can wear shorts while everyone else around the country is shoveling snow! With several bowl games being played within a few hundred miles of my location it enables me to do several bowl games. This year I would have three bowl games within 40 miles of my house, including the most important bowl, the BCS National Championship.
.The last few weeks I have been blogging like crazy with all my Best of 2010 categories. We are almost finished (thank god). Here is an assortment of some of my favorite football images of 2010. Enjoy.
