With USA defying the odds by advancing out of the proverbial “Group of Death”, soccer fever began to take over the United States prior to their round of 16 matchup against Belgium. “I believe that we will win” became a chant heard at bars all around the country, including some in Brazil. For my third match of the 2014 World Cup, I found myself back at the Arena Corinthians for a big matchup between England and Uruguay. After both teams lost their first game, this game essentially would be an elimination game for the unlucky loser. Lets get to the match!
In the humid beach city of Natal, Brazil Team USA took on Ghana in their opening match of the 2014 World Cup. It was a game that experts were saying they had to at least finish in a tie or their chances of advancing to the next round would be next to impossible with their upcoming games against powerhouses Portugal and Germany. Race number nine of the 2014 NHRA season took us to Englishtown, NJ and the historic Raceway Park dragstrip for the Toyota Summernationals. Having spent a lot of my youth in New Jersey, its a track I know well. Lets jump right into the photos from the weekend.

With all the safety advancements in todays NHRA major incidents don’t happen often but at the 2014 Southern Nationals near Atlanta we all were reminded of what can happen when you race at speeds well over 300mph.
