In the humid beach city of Natal, Brazil Team USA took on Ghana in their opening match of the 2014 World Cup. It was a game that experts were saying they had to at least finish in a tie or their chances of advancing to the next round would be next to impossible with their upcoming games against powerhouses Portugal and Germany. Well instead of tying and getting 1 point in their rankings, USA went out and won the game to take 3 points. Continue on to see all the images from the exciting match!
Greetings from Sao Paulo, Brazil where the 2014 FIFA World Cup kicked off yesterday evening with a matchup between Brazil and Croatia. All the hassle of getting here and getting set up is finally in the rear view. Race number nine of the 2014 NHRA season took us to Englishtown, NJ and the historic Raceway Park dragstrip for the Toyota Summernationals. Having spent a lot of my youth in New Jersey, its a track I know well. Lets jump right into the photos from the weekend.

There are moments in NHRA drag racing that make you sit on the edge of your seat as you anxiously await for the driver to climb out of the mangled burning vehicle ok. With all the safety advancements in todays NHRA major incidents don’t happen often but at the 2014 Southern Nationals near Atlanta we all were reminded of what can happen when you race at speeds well over 300mph. Leading up to the NHRA races in Houston, Steve Torrence wanted to a cool promotional photo shoot to highlight the race in his home state. He didn’t have to look any further than a few miles down the road in his hometown of Kilgore, TX for the perfect way to represent Texas. Ladies and gentleman meet the Kilgore Rangerettes.
