The 2011 NASCAR season is now in full swing and the question everyone is wondering is if Jimmie Johnson will win his sixth straight Sprint Cup Series championship. There is a long line of top drivers doing everything they can to prevent that from occurring. At the top of that list is Carl Edwards. On to the races!

After a month of drag racing, baseball and football I was super excited to get back out on the dirt to shoot the stars of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series as they made their second stop of the year at Speedworld in Surprise, AZ. On top of the normal action stuff I shoot I decided prior to the event that it was time to bring out my soft box setup and do some driver portraits.

With the opening week of Daytona out of the way all eyes would be on the biggest race of the year, the Daytona 500. Oh and Danicas first Nationwide start. Both races would live up to the hype and then some.

While on a flight this morning from Phoenix to Atlanta instead of editing stock images like I should have been doing (I am way far behind) I instead chose to jot down some of the things I hate about all the traveling I do. What started as a possible 25 thing list quickly turned into 99 things.
