A little over a week ago I was notified that I had won the 2008 Motorsports Photographer of the Year by the National Motorsports Press Association (NMPA). It is the second time in the last three years that I was fortunate enough to win the title. On top of Photographer of the Year I won my first Photo of the Year award for my shot of the drag boat crash. Continue on to see more of the images from my portfolio.

So instead of hanging out waiting for some action I decided to really put in 100% effort and try and kick some ass. Continue reading to see what I came up with.

The Craftsman Truck Series race is usually one of the best races I shoot all year. Sadly this year was the exception to the rule and all my best images during the race were of the drunk fans.
