My favorite part of the college football season is without a doubt the end of the year and all the bowl games. Living in Phoenix is a perfect location during that time, and no not just because of the fact that I can wear shorts while everyone else around the country is shoveling snow! With several bowl games being played within a few hundred miles of my location it enables me to do several bowl games. This year I would have three bowl games within 40 miles of my house, including the most important bowl, the BCS National Championship.
.A new category in my best of series this year is my best portraits. While I rarely shoot portraits I have been doing my best to make an effort to start doing more so I can get better at them. While the photos in this post are not on the level of my sports action stuff I will share them anyways.
.Next up in my Best of 2010 blogs is my best of basketball. I am still not too comfortable with shooting basketball but slowly but surely I am picking up a little interest in the sport.
.The NBA season is now past the halfway point so I figured it would be a good time to highlight some of my favorite images from the first half.
.Throughout the year there are some sports I cover only once or twice so instead of leaving them out I have decided to show some of my best sports images from random sports. Some of my best photos of the year came from some of these random sports that I normally dont shoot. So while a lot of these sports are far from random for most of you, they are for me.
.Once again I went with Lina out to the Arizona desert to do some more practice on my portrait shooting. This time we also had highly rated high school basketball player.
