With how busy I have been covering NASCAR during this years Chase for the Cup I gotta admit I was starting to get bored with the repetition of covering several races. I haven’t shot an NFL game in well over a month and really miss shooting it, however a weekend in Talladega was more than enough to help me realize why I love covering NASCAR so much. .Still tired from shooting the football game at BYU the night before, I landed in San Diego and was picked up by my buddy Rob Benson and off we went over to Qualcomm Stadium to shoot the San Diego Chargers home opener against the mighty Baltimore Ravens.
.Every year the cars and stars of the NHRA converge on Firebird International Raceway to test out their cars in preparation of the 2009 season which begins in two weeks. Preseason testing usually is the best time to get images of the drivers due to the small crowds and great access. Continue on to see my first motorsports shoot of the new year!
