The Miami sun sets on the 2008 NASCAR season

So after shooting 13 NASCAR races around the country it finally came down to my 14th and final race of the season in sunny Miami for the championship race. With Jimmie Johnson having a gigantic points lead I would spend most of my weekend trying to get as many different angles of him as possible since the championship would be his third straight, tying him with NASCAR legend Cale Yarborough as the only driver to three peat, and would be good for sales. Continue reading to see what I came up with.

The 49ers take on the Cardinals where the hardest hit is two hours after the game!

Less than 24 hours after finishing a long and busy weekend shooting NASCAR it was time for Monday Night Football in the Arizona desert. Little did I know that it would be me who would take the biggest hit of the evening. Continue reading to see what I’m talking about!

Thunder in the Arizona Desert…NASCAR Style

If the Phoenix International Raceway wasn’t 30 miles from my house I doubt I would come to this race. While it is a fun track to drive on its not quite as fun as a fan. So instead of hanging out waiting for some action I decided to really put in 100% effort and try and kick some ass. Continue reading to see what I came up with.

From the Archives- X Games handlebar remote cam (2006)

One of the most commonly asked about shots I’ve taken is without a doubt the Mike Mason remote shot I did at the 2006 Summer X Games in Los Angeles. With these past few weeks being free from shoots I figured I’d do a write up about this shoot with some behind the scenes stuff.

Portrait Practice Part 3-The things you can do with a girl in a Garage

On a very rare weekend in town with nothing for me to do, I got a hold of my buddy Lina. After finding out she was just as bored, we met up to toy around with more studio stuff. This time we would shoot indoors. I was fully expecting to crash and burn since I had never really done a three lighting set up. Continue reading to see how this turns out.

The Cardinals stay just out of reach of the Cowboys

Anytime the Dallas Cowboys come to town its an exciting game with nearly as many Cowboy fans as Cardinals fans. This game would end up being more exciting than the others with the Cardinals a… (can’t believe I’m gonna say this)….first place team. The game would feature many amazing plays which would make for great photos……except for me it would turn out. Lets start from the beginning.

Talladega Day 4 (controversy wins exciting race!)

Only in the world of NASCAR can the driver who finished second be called the winner while the driver who finished first be called the 18th place finisher. Sound a bit confusing? Continue reading to see how that happens.
