Just returned home from my traditional Memorial Day weekend spent in Indiana covering my favorite motorsports event, the Indianapolis 500 for the 10th time. Continue on to see my 50 favorite images from the 100th edition of the greatest spectacle in racing.
Finally found a minute to post my final Best of 2014 photo blog with my best Crash and Burn photos of 2014. Continue on to check them out!

I was fortunate enough to shoot my sixth Indianapolis 500, in my opinion still the biggest race in the world. My luck hadn’t been all to great the past few years. That would change this year!
It is finally time to bring my “Best of 2011” series to an end with everyones favorite category (except those who appear in these pics) with my Best of Crash and Burn. Not many years ago many of the crashes you see in this post would have resulted in injuries for the drivers but thanks to todays safety technology every driver seen in this blog would walk away. The same can’t be said for their race cars!
The highlight of May every year for me is knowing I will be in Indiana shooting the greatest motorsporting event in the world, the Indianapolis 500. With 2011 being the 100th anniversary of the first race it was guaranteed to be a big deal. Little did we know, those of us in attendance would also witness one of the most exciting 500 finishes ever.
Its the end of 2010 so its time for my third installment of my best of blogs from the year. First up will be my best celebration and dejection photos for the year.
