With USA defying the odds by advancing out of the proverbial “Group of Death”, soccer fever began to take over the United States prior to their round of 16 matchup against Belgium. “I believe that we will win” became a chant heard at bars all around the country, including some in Brazil. Lets get to the game that ended with a heartbroken nation.

After a big victory against Ghana in their opening match, Team USA would head to the rain forests of Manaus, Brazil, along the Amazon River for their second match of the group stage against Portugal. One of my favorite events I cover each year is the Indianapolis 500. To someone who’s never been there, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a mecca for motorsports fans. The place oozes with history and the tradition of the biggest race on Earth! Lets get on to the pics…

Leading up to the NHRA races in Houston, Steve Torrence wanted to a cool promotional photo shoot to highlight the race in his home state. He didn’t have to look any further than a few miles down the road in his hometown of Kilgore, TX for the perfect way to represent Texas. Ladies and gentleman meet the Kilgore Rangerettes. Under much warmer temps than we all expected, Super Bowl 48 was played Sunday night near New York City between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks.
