Since every TV channel, website and publication has done their moments/photos of the decade I decided I should probably do the same. While I am sure I am missing numerous worthy photos (due to a few dead hard drives and my laziness to scan negatives) here are 50 of my favorite images from the last decade. Enjoy!
.Typically on this weekend every year I venture to Dover, Delaware to shoot NASCAR but after three consecutive years shooting that event I felt it was time for a change so I decided to head to Topeka, Kansas to cover the ground pounding 320mph vehicles of the NHRA.
.After 5 days of attempting to get over screwing up and missing the Carl Edwards crash in Talladega it was time to put it behind me as I made the trip up to Richmond, Virginia for a nice weekend of NASCAR on the 3/4 mile short track of Richmond International Raceway.
.After the previous day of shooting college baseball pitcher Stephen Strasburg in Dallas and having my flight home cancelled I flew home the morning of the Elite 8 game between Missouri and Uconn. I knew it would be a rough game on me since I would be completely worn out but as with every shoot I would still give it full effort in hopes of getting something great. Sadly great wasn’t in the cards for me.
.A few months back I had the privilege of shoot behind the scenes with NFL superstar Kurt Warner for an ESPN.com story. With ESPN writer Wayne Drehs in tow we got to work documenting Kurts life on and off the field.
.Due to my main laptop deciding to die on me last week I am super late with the posting of this blog. But anyways the Texas Longhorns came to Glendale, AZ to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in what promised to be a great game. And boy was it! Lets get started…
.After a great shoot just 7 hours prior in Phoenix it was a lovely 6am wakeup call New Years day to hop on a plane for the quick jump over to LA for the Rose Bowl. I was tired, sore and cranky but the gorgeous weather and great light motivated me to cheer up in time for a New Years tradition.
